MINIMANI M, a unit group of the girl group MINIMANI under CMG Green Star, consists of the main vocalists Han Song-i and Choi Rin, forming a retro vocal duet. "M" stands for "Mighty." Unlike MINIMANI's existing retro disco, hybrid trot, and performance-oriented dance trot music genres, MINIMANI M plans to showcase medium tempo pop trot music that fully displays the charm of the two vocal members. With a fresh and lively image, spanning from the present to the past, including familiar genres like trot, MINIMANI M aims to be loved by people of all ages and genders as a unit of MINIMANI. Han Song-i and Choi Rin's MINIMANI M will make their debut on January 12, 2024, with their first single 'Blackened Heart (Heartbreak)' and the track 'Burning Up.'

The title track of MINIMANI M's first album, 'Blackened Heart (Heartbreak),' is a collaborative work by composers VictoryW, Yuk Sang-hee, and Lee Han, who have produced numerous drama OSTs. It heightens the completion with its emotional lyrics, poignant melody, sophisticated sound, and the compelling voices of MINIMANI M's Han Song-i and Choi Rin, encapsulating the pain and longing after love has passed. The included track 'To Moon' is a semi-trot song expressing the longing for a loved one towards the moon.

In the second half of 2021, MINIMANI appeared on MBN's global trot audition program "Hello Trot," passing both the first and second rounds in first place and leaving a strong impression on many people with their bubbly charm and vocal skills as the idol group of the trot world up to the third round.
