〈A BLOODY LUCKY DAY〉 is a road movie-style thriller involving an endlessly optimistic, humanistic taxi driver, O Taek (played by Lee Sung-min), who picks up a psychopathic serial killer, Geum Hyeok-su (played by Yoo Yeon-seok), who cannot feel pain, as a long-distance passenger. Unlike the webtoon 〈A BLOODY LUCKY DAY〉, which unfolds from the perspective of the dehumanized monster Geum Hyeok-su, the drama 〈A BLOODY LUCKY DAY〉 focuses on the anguish of the human, O Taek, thrust into a survival crisis and introduces a new character, Hwang Soon-kyu (played by Lee Jeong-eun), a fierce character who is both a pursuer of Geum Hyeok-su and an ally to O Taek, adding genre interest and completeness not found in the original.

The 《A BLOODY LUCKY DAY Script Book》 is divided into Part 1 and Part 2, each containing the writer's original script with scenes and dialogues that were changed or deleted in the main series, along with printed signatures of actors Lee Sung-min, Yoo Yeon-seok, and Lee Jeong-eun.
