JTBC Weekend Drama 'FamilyXMelodrama' Releases Online Compilation Album

The online compilation album for the OST of "FamilyXMelodrama," a fierce family drama where a father who was abandoned 11 years ago returns as the landlord of his family's building, is set to be released.

This compilation album includes several songs that capture the emotions of the two main characters. Featured tracks include THE BOYZ's "Neverland," which expresses the feelings of the protagonists, CHEN's "Don't Remember," a track filled with a melancholic and wistful atmosphere, SHAUN's "By Your Side," representing the inner thoughts of the male lead Byun Moo-jin (played by Ji Jin-hee), Park Joon-ha's "Cozy," known for its gentle guitar melody, and The Stray's "You’re Falling," which delivers heartfelt emotions with a genuine and simple tone.

Additionally, the theme song for the deep romantic storyline between Byun Mi-rae (played by Son Na-eun) and Nam Tae-pyeong (played by Choi Min-ho), Woshi's "We Come Around," as well as Lee Jihye's "Deep Night," which suits the unfolding poignant story, are included. Other standout tracks include Etti's "Catch Me," depicting the suffocating anxiety and obstacles faced by the characters as metaphorical monsters, and Lee Woo-seok's "The Seventeen," which evokes a magical feeling of a love that transcends time.

With contributions from these talented artists, who balance both popularity and musicality, the OST album has been crafted to perfection. Furthermore, an additional 30 score tracks that enhance the emotional depth of the story bring the total to 39 tracks, aiming to captivate the hearts of "FamilyXMelodrama" fans. Music director Park Se-jun, known for his work on hit dramas such as "The Seductress," "My Demon," "Diva of the Deserted Island," "Taxi Driver 2," and "Youth of May," composed the soundtrack, skillfully enhancing the drama's charm.

The diverse OST, which resonated with viewers and added strength to the characters' narratives, received a passionate response from audiences. This compilation album is expected to once again draw listeners into the world of "FamilyXMelodrama," extending the lingering emotions of the story.
