From a period when not even the group's name or member lineup was disclosed, ADOR (All Doors One Room)'s first rookie group, NewJeans, debuted amid high anticipation as "Min Hee-jin's girl group" throughout the year.

Their 1st EP "New Jeans" poses questions about the 'good music' NewJeans aims to pursue.

Instead of following the familiar formula of conventional K-POP, they based their music on POP without sticking to a specific style. They sought to create sophisticated easy-listening pop that can be comfortably enjoyed anywhere, while also producing with natural sound engineering that does not exaggerate, highlighting the members' genuine voices. The four tracks included in the album capture the pure and natural charm of the NewJeans members, all teenagers, and their unique energy. At first glance, it may seem like the songs are about love from the perspective of someone NewJeans' age, but each track, based on various musical attempts, contains different narratives that together naturally encompass the lifestyle of teenagers. Moreover, they paint a narrative of 'us' beyond individual stories. Choosing three songs as the title tracks is a strategic move to fully convey the message NewJeans wants to share.

Above all, NewJeans pursues honesty and naturalness. Min Hee-jin, the chief producer known for leading K-POP market trends in unique ways and creating innovative artist brands, says, "Popular music is a culture that is closely intertwined with everyday life, much like the clothes we wear every day."

Like 'Jean,' beloved by all ages regardless of the era, at the center of trends or apart from them, NewJeans aims to become the new icon of this era, the "New Jeans" you reach for every day, never getting tired of wearing them.
