Singer Cho Yong-pil has returned with 'Road to 20 - Prelude 2'.

After releasing 19 studio albums over 55 years, Cho Yong-pil is now showcasing a new musical direction, different from his past works. Last year, with 'Road to 20 - Prelude 1', he unveiled the first step toward his 20th studio album.

This new album, the second in the journey toward the 20th album, expands his musical spectrum with genres and sounds that break away from the traditional mold, aiming to captivate not only the middle-aged generation but also the MZ generation, who are familiar with idol music. It is an EP that spans a wide range of music.

'Road to 20 - Prelude 2' features two new songs, 'Feeling Of You' and 'La', as double title tracks, along with 'Chalna' and 'Like Serengeti', which were released last year, for a total of four tracks. The music video for 'Feeling Of You', in the style of a fairy tale-like animation, is particularly eye-catching.

The 'Feeling Of You' music video was produced by visual artist 'Chusu', who is a VR artist at Princess Computer.

While the two songs from 'Road to 20 - Prelude 1', 'Chalna' and 'Like Serengeti', conveyed messages about fateful moments and support for everyone, the new double title tracks 'Feeling Of You' and 'La' explore expanded themes of dreams, hope, and faith.

'Feeling Of You' is a pop-rock track characterized by a blend of diverse synth sounds, a refreshing and powerful 8-beat rhythm, and electric guitar, culminating in a chorus that’s fortified with dazzling harmonies. Choi Hee-seon, leader and guitarist of the band 'Great Birth', and keyboardist Choi Tae-wan participated in the recording, enhancing the musical quality.

'La' is a house genre track that proves Cho Yong-pil's broad musical spectrum. It features a strong synth bass and a stylish beat, giving the sound a sense of solidity. The groovy synth sound adds a layer of fun, and the vocal FX effects and octave-moving synth melody in the chorus provide a harmonious and immersive experience.

Following 'Road to 20 - Prelude 1', 'Road to 20 - Prelude 2' marks the next step in Cho Yong-pil's journey toward his 20th studio album.
