The band Dragon Pony (드래곤포니) officially debuted on September 26, 2024, with their first EP album 'POP UP', marking a fresh entrance into the music scene.

The album 'POP UP' consists of five tracks, including pre-released songs from earlier this year through live clips such as 'Morse Code', 'Ouroboros', 'Traffic Jam', and 'Pity Punk', along with the new title track 'POP UP'.

The first track and title song 'POP UP' captures the passionate cry of a non-mainstream youth, conveying Dragon Pony's autobiographical message of not following the predetermined paths or societal standards. Though the beginning might be imperfect and the next steps uncertain, the song delivers a free-spirited call to embrace anxiety and fear, singing and dancing joyfully in the moment.

This album also showcases Dragon Pony’s strength in maintaining the core of the rock genre through a solid and three-dimensional sound built on a traditional band setup.

While 'Morse Code' and 'Traffic Jam' highlight the inexperienced and honest emotions of boys facing love with a fresh, lyrical tone, 'Pity Punk' expresses the sorrow of a breakup through heart-wrenching punk. 'Ouroboros' delivers a powerful message of progressive and weighty criticism, offering listeners an intense rock sound.

With all members taking on the role of main producers, writing, composing, and arranging all the songs themselves, Dragon Pony's debut album 'POP UP' reflects their own musical essence.
