The acclaimed comic 'DP: Dog’s Day' has been published as a standalone volume. Written by Kim Bo-tong, one of the most notable emerging comic artists who previously won the Today's Our Comics Award for his debut work 'Amanza', which dealt with the story of a young cancer patient. 'DP: Dog's Day' was serialized in [Hankyoreh] and Lezhin Comics, garnering love and support from many readers. Through the unfamiliar subject of military police deserter pursuit (DP), the story directly addresses human rights issues within the South Korean military. The first volume of 'DP: Dog's Day' depicts the main character, Ahn Jun-ho, as he chases deserters in his role as a DP, confronting the harsh realities of the military through the individual stories of the deserters.
