I was at my best when singing about breakups, becoming a person who felt the pain and sorrow of every separation in the world through just one or two songs.

It was cold. For years, I deliberately avoided creating songs about love. Yet, people still clung to the sad love songs of Park Won from the past. Writing about love in the present was too painful, the future was too uncertain, and I inevitably had to dig through the past.

It was fresh. Twelve different stories. I am grateful for my shallow and now lighter love that still allows such songs to pour out. I chose the shameful, the filthy, and the not beautiful, and enclosed them within beautiful songs.

Considering the love I have experienced, my future love will not be beautiful either.
